Lighthouses fascinate me. I can't really put my finger on it but there's just something romantic, mystical, and magical about them. Maybe it's how they are able to guide sailors to safety during a storm? Or maybe it's because I'm also searching for my life's own 'lighthouse'?

But then again, living by the sea doesn't sound too safe. Must be pretty horrible during a storm. I think I'll just stay where I am. =P

You should visit the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse in Ilocos Norte. It overlooks the South China Sea. It was built in 1892 and it still stands like a rock. I've only been there once, and I would like to go back, this time with my camera.
Interesting. Coincidentally the last time I saw a lighthouse was when I was in Ilocus SUR. hehe.
Aren't they simply magical? If only I had the talent for capturing images I would've planned on doing that as well. But luck and talent is not on my side.
Filipino lighthouses would make for a really interesting theme for a set of photographs. I can just imagine the cost of trying to capture them all on film though. =P
Magical indeed. There's something sad and beautiful about them. Mamumulubi ako if I use film. :P
LMAO! Ah well, I'm sure there are a lot of other things that can be captured that don't require so much travel and film. Just let me know if you've finally come out with your coffee table book.
